Mexico: Offshore and Land-Based Accommodations

HB Rentals has been operating in the offshore Mexico market since the late 1990s and supports both offshore and land projects out of our Ciudad del Carmen operating/service facility. The Ciudad del Carmen facility was officially opened in 2013 and allows for storage of rental modules, provides refurbishment services and serves as our base of operational support for our offshore Mexico projects. In the offshore market we support both shallow and deepwater projects with our A60 ABS/USCG certified fleet of accommodation modules and offshore service modules designed for use in hazardous areas.

The Ciudad del Carmen operating facility supports HB Rentals’ full range of service offerings including accommodation modules and operating essentials such as water, sewage, power, lighting and communications systems. The addition of this facility allows the company to respond more quickly to the needs of its Mexico-based clients while reducing project expenses by eliminating importation and transportation costs.

As one of our primary markets, offshore Mexico has enjoyed project activity exceeding 1,000 personnel on board (POB). Our accommodation fleet in Mexico offers sleepers, galleys/diners and general purpose modules such as laundries, offices and recreation rooms.
